Uzbekistan has updated its official list of authorized Chinese enterprises and orchards permitted to export citrus fruits to the country in the year 2026. The announcement was released by the Uzbekistan Committee for Food Safety and features a total of 241 registered packing facilities distributed across four distinct Chinese provinces and autonomous regions.
Jiangxi Province holds the largest share on the updated list, accounting for 129 registered facilities supervised by Nanchang Customs, with many situated in Nanfeng County. Furthermore, 99 facilities are registered in Zhangzhou within Fujian Province, primarily located in Pinghe County under Xiamen Customs jurisdiction. The remaining establishments include 11 facilities in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region across Khorgos, the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, and Kashgar, alongside two additional facilities situated in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province.
Every approved facility has received a unique registration number designed to support traceability and ensure phytosanitary compliance. The Uzbekistan Committee for Food Safety stated that citrus imports are subject to strict phytosanitary controls to prevent the introduction and spread of quarantine quarantine pests. These protective measures encompass the origin, sorting, and packaging processes of the exported fruit.
Ultimately, the updated registration list aims to strengthen import controls and enhance transparency in the citrus trade between China and Uzbekistan.
