Manipur Deputy CM Urges Colleague to Ask Husband to Abide by Agreement

Manipur deputy chief minister Losii Dikho publicly urged his Cabinet colleague Nemcha Kipgen on Saturday to ask her husband, Thangboi Kipgen, to take a specific course of action.

Thangboi Kipgen serves as the president of the Kuki National Front (President), commonly referred to as KNF-P. This particular faction is a signatory to the Suspension of Operation agreement established with both the central government and the state government.

The appeal made by the deputy chief minister involves asking the Cabinet colleague to direct her husband regarding his leadership role within the armed group and its ongoing commitments under the official agreement.
