BJP Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari criticized the Congress party regarding its electoral excuses concerning Electronic Voting Machines and ballot papers, stating that the opposition party's results remain completely unsuccessful.
Pradeep Bhandari highlighted specific electoral outcomes to challenge Congress, pointing out that out of 28 Legislative Council seats held through ballot papers, the Congress party won zero seats. He further noted that the party achieved zero wins in the Silchar Municipal polls and zero wins in the Tripura Gram Samiti.
The Bharatiya Janata Party, often abbreviated as BJP, is one of the two major political parties in India alongside the Indian National Congress, and is the country's ruling political party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The remarks from the BJP spokesperson come amidst ongoing political discussions and debates in India surrounding election processes, including the comparison between EVMs and traditional ballot papers during various regional and local polls across the nation.
